LifeSpark was formed in 2005 out of a desire to support the health and well-being of individuals going through cancer.

6,000+ people served

We have served individuals with cancer as well as caregivers, and oncology nurses. We have also provided sessions at health fairs for the general public.

32,000 healing sessions

Reiki and Healing Touch sessions have been given at hospital infusion centers and at local spas and churches, as well as offering them remotely. We occasionally also provide sessions at health fairs.

Every day, LifeSpark delivers Reiki and Healing Touch sessions to cancer patients at no charge because we believe that everyone with cancer deserves peace and healing.

95% of those receiving sessions in our program report that the sessions were either helpful or very helpful.

Nearly 100 LifeSpark Reiki and Healing Touch volunteers deliver hundreds of sessions to individuals with cancer and their caregivers every year.

OUR STORY

This program began with a vision and a desire to impact lives.

The program officially started at QuaLife Wellness Community, a Denver-based non-profit organization that served cancer patients. In late 2004, QuaLife closed its doors. In early 2005, LifeSpark founders formed a new non-profit organization, and LifeSpark was officially launched.

Collaboration and teamwork are key principles in LifeSpark. The organization has grown steadily, and we have developed partnerships with several cancer centers, places of worship, and spas.
